Lab Manager: Mrs. Everett

The Springdale School District is dedicated to providing the most up-to-date technology for our students. It is our District's mission to use technology to increase learning. We have two computer labs. Each lab contains 30 computers. We also have Infocus projectors in our labs. This allows us to teach the students on computers with a large screen computer. Each classroom at Harp Elementary has three student computers in them. All of our computers are online and have access to the World Wide Web. At times, our students do research on the internet.

In the computer labs, the students use programs to help improve their reading, writing, and math skills. We also use software to increase their keyboarding and computer skills. We have students working in Word, Excel, and Power Point. Some of the programs that are on our computers in the lab and in the classroom are: Learning Expedition, Reader Rabbit software, Heartsoft, CornerStone Math, Math Workshop Deluxe, Star Reading and Math, Accelerated Reader, and the Phonics software.
